While budget airlines can be a great way for some travelers to score a low ticket price, the biggest drawback is that, due to cost-cutting measures and limited airport slots, such airlines do not always fly into the airport closest to certain major cities.Emerging carrier Avelo flies into Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) rather than LAX while Frontier Airlines  (FRON)  previously flew only into New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA), Newark Liberty (EWR) and Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP).Related: I just flew Spirit for the first time ever — here’s what it was likeThis week, the latter Denver-based carrier announced that it would now also add JFK to the list of airports it flies into.
